“The scientific competence and wide-ranging expertise of Dr. Iordache were well-known to me during his participation in the first major trans-European interdisciplinary wetland project, which I established and coordinated over many years. He has excellent participatory and organizational skills which stem from a strong practical background and field-based experience. He has a very mature perspective and vision of multidisciplinary science’s role in helping solve major environmental challenges facing society – and the research requirements to deal with these. His overall activity demonstrates innovative thinking and has a strong element of practical application.”
Edward Maltby, Professor Emeritus in Wetland Science, Water and Ecosystem Management of University of Liverpool
“Dr. Iordache is, in my experience, one of the finest intellects I have encountered during my own career as an ecological researcher. He possesses an exceptional analytical mind, with the ability to integrate different themes of both environmental and social sciences.”
