
Virgil Alexandru Iordache is an Associate professor and a Senior researcher in the Faculty of Biology, University of Bucharest, where he teaches several environmental management and sustainability science classes. He is also the director of the “Dan Manoleli” Research Centre for Ecological Services – CESEC of the University of Bucharest. Since 2020 he has been a member of the National Institute for Industrial Ecology board and the National Ethics Council for Research. His main research interests are in biogeochemistry, sustainability science, and the philosophical foundations of socio-ecological research and management.
