I have delivered this talk at the Faculty of Biology days, University of Bucharest, on 20th of November 2025. It was a lovely and inspiring event organized in the framework of the Universitaria Consortium.
My objectives were to communicate the high quality of the data produced by our research group and to trigger Romanian academic institutions’ evolution towards a culture of data traceability in environmental sciences by framing our group’s work in the international context and underlining the need to align with international good practices of data traceability and research reproducibility.

The subject was well received by our community of biologists and ecologists. Hopefully, this will lead to the development of the necessary infrastructure and procedures similar to those of the Hubbard Brook Physical Archive.
